President Obama's surprise decision to release his long-form birth certificate has many in Washington shaking their heads.
At first blush, it looks like the move was a response to real-estate mogul Donald Trump's recent push on the so-called "birther" issue. As Trump mulls a run for the White House himself, he's been making Mr. Obama's citizenship and place of birth an issue, one that's getting more attention as Trump soars in early polls.

So Donald Trump might be running for president, I mean why not? Since it looks like Obama is usin' it as a concert tour everywhere, at least Donald has built an empire and is known across the whole United States. In any case, he's questioning Obama's Citizenship, like many others and Obama released it, finally. People have been complaining about this document for a while, but Donald Trump looks like a threat to Obama and his re-election. Personally I think when you get the opponent to react to you, you've struck a cord.
