We do, but what would it look like? We should have a contest to see who could come up with the best one.

On topic though, though I do not agree with Salty's views alot of the time, I think he brings up some very good, infomative, and good information. You on the other hand, do not most of the time, and thus do not have any room to talk about not bringing up good info.

Salty, thanks for the effort and time in this forum, though I do not agree with you all the time I definately value and apreciate your point of view here and, as much as I hate to say it, you have swayed my opinion a bit

I personally can't stand salty, but I feel I owe him some amount of respect since he gave me such a good deal on his TV. Salty is an extreamly important part of teh politics forum, whether or not we always agree with him. He always provides us with something to argue about.

I agree. And in defense of his stance on the issues, he says he jokes around a lot.

Alright alright alright, so you got me - I certainly have praised salty's efforts on this board before, but please! you gotta give me a little room to blow up!

When i get up in the morning and come to work i'm looking for some sort of outlet to express my distaste of....well....i guess being awake - and i come onto the political forums and through my eyes i see thread after thread started by salty with names like -

"kerry? More like 'heck no sir!'"
"Democratic party sets fire to yellowstone"
"Edwards dropkicks orphan"
"Michael Moore eats cheeseburger, Terrorists win"
"Liberal cries himself to sleep"
"hippies want to save redwood forest" (rolling eyes emoticon)
"What's next? Adult diapers? Kerry thinks so!"
"Kerry's droopy face smothers kitten to death"
"More proof that paris is for mongoloid fairy horsetrash"

Of course none of his threads are like that, but filtered through my irrational A.M. melon it sure as hell looks like it - so i post a "HEY SALTY OMFG SHUT UP NOBODY CARES HOLY **** SHUT UP!". Then i dust off my hands like "job weeeellll done", and call it a day. Later on in the day i come back to check up and see my neurotic posts and - thank god, spelling corrected - (imprezastifan88, you run a tight ship) - and i feel a bit embarrassed. I'm in super crunch mode at work and the limited brainspace i have is being soaked up for other purposes - which doesnt leave me alot to work with here - yet i still try. *sigh*. I'm sowwwy.

From now on, since i really have nothing interesting to say - yet still insist on posting - i'll try and at least just be funny and not a dick.

Erg, actually i am - i didnt want to mention that because i don't think you believed me - it's crazy how bad these things screw me up, i feel like grandpa still thinking he could win in a bar fight when i post on here now. Hah, just remotely aware of how inept i am, yet too stubborn to admit it.

Stem cells come from embryos...NOT fetuses, there IS a difference, go look it up. If you claim embryos are alive, then so is your snot. I'm serious.

Actually stem cells can come from several different sources, embryos and fetuses are all the buzz, but they can also be taken from bone marrow tissue and umbilacal cord blood, among others.

it is really quite a complicated issue, lots of possible applications and lots of different views on where the ethical lines need to be drawn, here's a place you can learn more;

You've never seen my snot during a sinus infection!

If stem cells can be had from "other viable" tissue, why use embryos?
Are these "better" stem cells?
If embryo stem cells are the shiznit, then scientists should have them.
However, if stem cells are stem cells are stem cells, then why use embryonic variants?
