If true, this law is frankly unconstitutional. That's three or four amendments fooked by the bush administration.
Is this some kind of joke? I can't take that seriously.

You have no right to drive on public roads.

I'm not calling you or your firend liars, but this situation makes no sense.
However, if it's true....

I believe you have a hard time taking any criticism of this administration seriously.

I also believe that the only amendment in the bill of rights that you care for at all is the second.

Wow. Further proof that the Republican party has abondoned their roots as the party of less government and embracing a big brother mentality. Orwell was only off by 20 years!

Why don't you all stop this insane anti-bush rhetoric until you read and understand the law?

This is like amateur hour at "I want to bash GW" club. Common... at least take one or two facts and distort them like a good liberal!

ok, HellaDumb, you're bashing us for bashing bush, but you havent actually said anything to support his law. So lets hear your interpretation of the "one or two facts" that we've distorted

How can you bash Bush when you haven't read the law, nor know its intent?

I haven't read it yet, so I'm reserving judgement until then, as should you.

I can't find it. And I'll bet it's not actually a law. While I was working at UCLA a new mandate came down that any person that came to America at ANY time (even 50 years ago) in order to study/ do research had to register themselves in a national data base. It wasn't a law, just something the gov't made a bunch of people do (some of them citizens, some not). So good luck finding the actual print for this DL thing, my guess is it may not exist and if it does it'll be hiden.

And Helladumb, it's pretty obvious what the law is doing regardless of intent; it's taking DLs from citizens here just because of their religion, and all logic and reasoning says it won't protect or help anything (because terrorists don't give a flying s*** about DLs).

HellaDumb, I'm using the knowledge we have here of a 75 year old muslic leader having his DL taken away because he is a muslic leader. If more info comes up, I'll take that into consideration too, but at the moment readily available info on the subject is pretty sparse

That's called "hearsay," which is unverified information heard or received from another, otherwise known as a RUMOR.

Hahahaha, and what thread in the past year or so hasn't been riddled with hearsay. We're not in court...

And wouldn't the statement "Iraq has WMDs" also count as hearsay? You seem to defend that peice of hearsay pretty vehemently based on the fact that it is not verified or unverified.

It's funny

If someone said, "Bush eats booger snots", as ridiculous as it sounds, everyone would be on it like flies on *^%$. The "Pack" mentality would over come common sense and the Bush bashing would begin. Cartman from South Park said it best. Winning an election isn't done by telling people what a good job you're going to do, it's all about discrediting your opponent. Left or right,...they all do it. It all relies on the public taking something rediculous from the media, true or not, and blowing it out of proportion.

Anyway, what the hell were we talking about?

Yea, on that subject. Don't come knocking at my door looking like a terrorist,...you just might get your head blown clean off.
lol...

Anyway, did anyone find the info on the regulation that takes away your drivers lisence if you look like a terrorist? I'm dying to see it. *IF* it's true, I can't believe that it's not on every news station accross America yet.
