Don't you love this country?
Even though the kid is an idiot and brought it on himself when he said "Let me go and I'll walk out of here" I'd have let him try. If he made one move to make a disturbance after I afforded him the oppurtunity to leave I'd have tazered his *** real good and been completely in the right.
Why are you still here?
And here's a video of the incident.
My comments:
1. While being annoying, the guy did nothing to deserve what he got.
2. War hero Kerry, along with everyother coward in the room, did nothing to stop it.
3. Police State coming soon.

I'll buy the plane ticket as long as it's a one way.
The recent buzz seems to indicate that the whole scenario was set up by said dumbass just as much as the recent OJ fiasco. Supposedley the kid has a website with similar videos he posts. They prolly didn't have to taze him, although he was clearly resisting arrest, but I guess it's better than a billy club which would have happened just 15 years ago. Most speakers won't even hold a forum on college campuses anymore because of morons like this. I say they taze the kids in berkeley out of those trees.
btw, the offending officers have been suspended pending investigation.

In a "police state" they would have dragged him out of the forum and off to the Lubyanka to never be heard from again and the "state" would censor his cute little website ie. Russia and China.

There are two points to this incident:
1. Did the idiot do anything that was illegal?
2. Did the police over react?
While being annoying, this US citizen was exercising his 1st Amendment rights.
He was not threatening anyone in the hall.
I contend that he did not deserve what happened to him.
Right or wrong, the idiot was asked to leave.
Right or wrong, he did not comply with police orders.
Right or wrong, the police removed him.
In essence, the police did their job.
"They" should've just let the kid talk.

"Stop! Help! Let me go! What did I do, what did I do!" That tard shouts all this while he forcefully fights with the police. He was interrupting a public speaker/forum/debate...asked to leave or take a seat and he refused. If this happened at my house I would have F'd this dude up. Really, I would have beat his punk *** silly. The police started with verbal, then it went to control compliance, then pain compliance. Ending in handcuffs. The guy clearly resisted the entire time. This guy was clearly trying to provoke this response. He got what he deserved...a nice little beginning to what I'm sure will be a long rap sheet.
