funny how in the beginning of the article they made it sound like it was the students turn to speak but at the very end it says he barged to the front of the line. I'll withhold most comment until anyone releases a FULL video of what all happened. I wouldn't call it outrageous or that the charges are "trumped-up" on the very little and obviously very biased information the article provides

You know, it's really not a hard concept to cooperate with the police. You either go like a rag doll to the floor or move what they tell, exactly when they tell you, with your ****ing mouth shut. You can figure out what you did later at the HQ instead of trying to figure out what you did while resisting arrest. I do not fell sorry for the kid whatsoever.
Problem is that people like this guy are always the victim. "What did I do? What did I do?" "How is this happening to me, a white liberal college student?" You're doing it! You're still doing it! Stop it! If you weren't a college kid your teeth would be shattered too.

And I wonder if they were going to arrest him at first? They seem to be just escorting him out of the area at first to have a little "calm down, sir" chat. It's probably not until he keeps acting like the victim that things become violent with the police.

Here's a better video: http://www.starbanner.com/article/20.../BREAKING_NEWS
Wanna know what I see... a desperate boy that got too in over his head once that he realizes he'll possibly have a record. "You let me go and I'll walk out of here" haha

And here's a video of the incident.
My comments:
1. While being annoying, the guy did nothing to deserve what he got.
2. War hero Kerry, along with everyother coward in the room, did nothing to stop it.
3. Police State coming soon.

The recent buzz seems to indicate that the whole scenario was set up by said dumbass just as much as the recent OJ fiasco. Supposedley the kid has a website with similar videos he posts. They prolly didn't have to taze him, although he was clearly resisting arrest, but I guess it's better than a billy club which would have happened just 15 years ago. Most speakers won't even hold a forum on college campuses anymore because of morons like this. I say they taze the kids in berkeley out of those trees.
btw, the offending officers have been suspended pending investigation.

I think it's pretty clear what direction this asshat was going and the police showed patience and professionalism.
They tried to calm at the microphone and he *****ed. Then they let him talk and eventually cut his microphone once his rant became a little too personal. Then it looked like they were going to merely escort the guy out. That's when the so-called "victim" did a very stupid thing: He ran and showed opposition and physical resistance to the LEOs. Bad move. Now you're going to get arrested. And guess what? Being arrested is non-negotiable. You lose.
Why did you taser him? All he did was try to get away when you were arresting him. Why were you arresting him if he didn't want to be arrested? I think i’ll give that one a try if I ever witness my buddy being detained.
