You can argue & debate that the moon is made of cheese'til Hell freezes over, that doesn't mean that it is made of cheese.
Why is it that every time a black person perceives an injustice, it's ok to throw out the Race Card?
Is there some racism going on?
Of course there is!
Is every Black voter that was turned away 4 years ago a victim?
Of course not!

I don't believe so. And I won't change your mind so whatever. You should just post articles that support your train of thought next time.

That maybe Bush was SELECTED, and not ELECTED?
That would never happen in my country.

The thing is how many white voters vs black voters where turned away? Things like this should not happen and the article that HellaDumb posted only makes it more apparent that the REPUBLICAN is not making things right.

If a white person didn't get to vote, you'd sure as hell be calling it a victimization. Its our RIGHT to vote in this country. Those people deserved to vote because they are American citizens. Have you ever heard of the Constitution? How about the Bill of Rights?
HellaDumb, you are an ignorant bigot.

You assume I'm not black.
Isn't that...dare I ask...racist in nature?
You may not want to read or believe what I'm about to type, so consider yourself warned.
Some Blacks are as dumb as the day is long.
Some Whites are just plain stooopid.
And, I've been told, though never experienced one myself, there are a few Asians that are dimmer than a 5 Watt bulb.
But what does this have to do with the topic at hand?
Has it ever occured to you that maybe, just maybe, some of these "disenfranchised" people are just too stupid to fill out a registration form correctly?
That maybe some were just too dumb to find out where exactly to go to vote?
Hell, I'm college edgumacated, and I plum forgot to vote in '93.
Does that make me "disenfranchised?"
No, it makes me stupid.
To answer your question of how many whites were turned away.
I have no idea.
But seeing that it wasn't reported, it has to be zero, right?
OT Time
Here's a hint on my ethnicity: my wife's brother is Black.

Thats my point you don't even know how many whites got turned away. Its not even a issue. (Tell me that if a group of white voters got turned away they wouldn't be making a fuss about it.) The fact that black voters got turned away and it became a issue is a problem. The article states that things have not been changed and they need to be. They are making things even harder for them to vote, why is it a bad thing to encourage a right? And have everyone participate?
OT Time, as you put it.
Growing up, not only being hispanic but having mostly black friends, I saw the treatment people would give blacks first hand. Granted not everyone is racist but I got pulled over way more times randomly by cops if I was with a group of black friends than white. On top of that I have gone out with some black friends of mine downtown and on several occasions have been harrased by the cops randomly. I won't even enter the south texas attitude towards hispanics, and the racial profiling that is done. Even on top of all that my father got kicked out of UT while waiting for me to have lunch with me. This man who helped pay for three of his children to go to school there got harrased by the cops. My point being is that people are not always treated fairly and in this case they are not being treated fairly. And I don't see how standing up for their rights and being Democrats is causing racial tension. Which was the point HellaDumb was trying to make but failed.

Second, your lengthy reply proves you've got some racial tension.
Peace out!

Sigh, HellaDumb why do you make such statements?
I decided your not worth the energy to try and convince other wise. Your a person that can't even admit who is causing the tension, when the ARTICLE you posted states its the Republican doing this. So I officially give up in trying to talk some sense into you.
My lenthy reply is from my life experience BEING a minority. I have no racial tensions since i have a wide range of friends....from a variation of social back grounds. So once again your confused and lost.
I think you need to sit down and re-evaluate what you state before you post. Maybe you won't look so stupid anymore.
