You see I'm not like you. I work for this company, who process my paycheck through lots and lots of HR and it arrives at my doorstep with a crapload subtracted. Now... I signed a bunch of forms to LEGALLY be able to work for Intel as a resident of the United States.

Now I just don't know what you are getting at since for REAL JOBS you need to sign tax forms. Or else on the employer's end they are liable for tax evasion!

So I'm not sure what you are referring to. Are you a contractor/consultant?

I hate these LaRouche fockers. I was actually talking to one of them about 4 years ago and he busts this philosophy crap on me. It basically amounted to proving how Socrates gets a slave to reason, because he was trying to convince me LaRouche was the savior, like christ.

I'm a technical guy but I happened to see a friend who was working on a pHD in philosophy. Short story, mindless conceited and overly self confident LaRouche supporter is utterly destroyed by a person who actually knows what he's talking about.

It's perfectly alright to admit you don't know something. I'm young and I can't be expected to have the experience of a 40 or 50 year old. I just don't know why people have such big egos and have to pretend like they know everything.

It seems like nontaxpayer scams have been going on for ages and many have had ardent believers that what they were doing was truly constitutional and legal.

I'm trying to find an example of a nontaxpayer who was taken to court and won his case but I can't, can you?

You see, one of the differences between the two is that homeshoolers are a lot more open to reading materials and learning things. And you think I have been duped? In regards to that great article you linked me to, did you not read it? If you did, you do not understand it. The heading portrays that his house was confiscated because he was a non taxpayer, when, in fact, his house was taken away for an unlawful trust fund of some sort that I have not fully read up on. It WAS NOT because he did not pay taxes he was not liable for.

MVWRX, are you really being serious??? Do you not know where our paved roads come from? It has NOTHING to do with income taxes, road maintenance comes straight from gas taxes. I have had people say that to me sooo many times, I wish people would read alittle bit before they speak. Do you know how cheap gas would be if there were no federal or state taxes imposed?

Thank you, HellaDumb. Everyone says how great this country is...I personally think it sucks. It was setup as a Republic, most people think it's a democracy, and in reality, it is now a socialist nation.

I would hope that you would take back this statement, Jon. I am offended by it. My family came over here before this country ever was, in the early 1600's. I am proud of my heritage, ancestry, and what this country was setup as and once was. What I am not proud of is what this country is now and the uneducated people that wish to insult me by such statements.

On the subject of how you manage to not pay taxes, I'm curious about what you do for money. Do you pay the tax, and then get it back legally? Do you get paid under the table?

 

I'd say not too damn bad considering that includes your insurance premiums, stock options, dental, and taxes.

MVWRX, I would rather that we did not have a federal government controlled military, yes. I think a well regulated militia is the best plan of attack, as stated in the constitution, but if we do need a military, it should be set up state by state, not on a federal basis.

If you need help on how to declare a non taxpayer status, you should read the book I mentioned above. It's really helpful on this subject. BTW, a nontaxpayer is a legal designation, whereas a person who does not pay taxes is usually someone who is trying to "cheat" the system. I would choose not to cheat anyone.

In reading what you've said and your views on the federal government and how smart you are you must have made it through life without ever using your SSN and it shouldn't matter because you ignore our government and its silly bureacracry. And for the record one of my parents who is a lawyer AND has a masters degree specifically in tax law wishes you the best on the yellow brick road and says you might succeed at what you are doing but if you ever try and get federal money for anything it will be a dark, dark day in your life.

Do you know than many educated women today in 2005 don't even know that you are supposed to negotiate their salary when they sit down and get a job offer? If men are negotiating a 20%+ gain right at the gate, how do women dare complain about their own stupidity?

Do you realize the added cost burden and productivity loss to employers when women have children? Between leaves of absence, paid and unpaid leave, time spent at dr appointments, time spent distracted, etc, women that have children mid-career DO NOT AND CANNOT compete with a man OR WOMAN that does not have children as a distraction. Add this factor with their initial failure to negotiate salary, and you cannot argue with the fact that women are more highly paid than their counterparts in many instances. I work with many women at my current employer. All but one make more $$ than I.

When a mother takes time off work, productivity voids are not easy to fill with all the legal implications of replacing that worker. While the employer doesn't know the true intentions of the woman, they have to keep that job available just-in-case that woman wants to come back to work.

In 2005, women in the U.S. often dominate the classrooms, and womens' income is on a trajectory to surpass that of "equal" men. Is that what you want?

If you take into account the fact that women have a uterus, and thus a disadvantage in the business world if they intend to use it, women SHOULD NOT BE PAID EQUALLY IF THEY DON'T TIE THEIR FREAKING TUBES.

I do not need to "prove" myself to you or anybody here. I've already stated that I am not here to convince anyone. I know for myself and that is enough. The info is out there for you, too, already written, I do not need to repeat it, read for yourself. And what good is a social security number if my parents never (allowed one to be) issued for me? I'm sorry your parents sold you into bondage by (allowing one to be) given to you the second you were born and designating you as a number. On matters of federal money I never want to use their dirty money. It comes straight from your pockets and I do not wish to steal. Lojasmo, read up before talking. I've already stated and it is common knowledge that paved roads come from gas taxes. Medicaid and all the federal aids I look down on. A waste of money and totally immoral and I will never make use of their so-called "benefits." Public schooling is one of the 10 planks of communism, but then again, if you read any useful information (I'm sorry, do the public schools not supply you with any?) you would already known this. Actually, that's not ENTIRELY correct. The Federal Gov't does help States, somewhat, with road funds. The catch? The state has to have a drinking age of 21 years of age or older. The only state that does NOT have this... Louisianna. Where you can drink at 18. Also, in States like PA, NJ, and NY, fundings for roads ALSO comes from their numerous toll roads (turnpikes). Road fundings also come from a portion of State Taxes. IIRC, this is how things like CalTrans (DoT), and what not are funded.



PS: How do u plan on living without a SSN? Do you plan on never buying ANYTHING on credit? Owning a house, getting a loan etc... What do you do when you apply for a job, and they need your SSN to LEGALLY employ you?
