Wow...I don't know what to say about this one.
NEW CASTLE, Colo. (AP) -- An armed law enforcement team broke down the door of a family home with a battering ram and took an 11-year-old to a hospital after authorities feared he was not getting proper medical care for what turned out to be a minor head injury.

So the county was forcing the family to accept medical aid from the medics. Were they also going to force them to cough up the several thousands of dollars in bills associated with that treatment? The ambulance ride, IV, pills, hospital bed, and doctors time all adds up to serious cash.
I was T-boned and taken by ambulance to the hospital. The ride to the hospital, IV, pain killers, X-rays, and the emergency room time (less than 6hrs) cost the other drivers insurance about $23K. BTW i was in a rental....not the Suby.
