The idea of this wielding a scatter gun amuses me....greatly.

The media is all pissed that they weren't notified immediately of what happened. Normally I'm all for bashing Cheney and Bush, but this is stupid. They have no obligation to let the media know about this sort of thing..

Why make a big deal out of this? It was an accident. I am sure if there is anyone who could choose to make a big deal out of this is the guy who got "peppered". If he chooses not to, it is noones business.
The fact that DC accidently shot someone during a hunting trip should not reflect on him as a politician.
That's how I feel about this.

Sort of like how if the president had an affair, it's none of the American people's business?
I agree, this shouldn't be a big deal...I don't care that it took a day to 'get out', and it shouldn't reflect on Cheney as a politician.
...but I'm sure as hell not going hunting with him or anything else where his lack of awareness may cost me my life hahaha

1. It was an accident. They happen. If I accidentally shot a friend hunting I gaurantee it wouldn't be front page news and the media wouldn't care if I told them or not.
2. He didn't kill anyone so how does your comment relate to this story in any way?
