This has been my point from the very start of the military record debate.

 

But you don't really know that kerry is lying - you know he broke a few rules, but you don't know that he is lying - and military hear-say doesn't count as fact. But you DO know that bush went AWOL, then lied about it.

 

I already told you I was biased on this topic, okay!

I wasn't born yesterday either... Kerry "earned" 2 awards for valor and 3 Purple Hearts in an unheard service term of 4 months. Some SOF soldiers weren't that decorated after 3 full tours so say what you will.

I will take the word of the numerous veterans that have already risked their legacy as Vietnam veterans over one man that's hungry to fullfill his dreams of Camelot.

I think i've explained myself enough on this topic and don't need to justify myself to someone that hasn't served his country. I'm not trying to be an ******* but that's the only way you'll understand my bias.

First question when did you serve? If you went to vietnam then thank you for what you did. I know it was a very hard thing to do. Several of my parents friends went and they still don't like talking about and carry scars from those experiences. Just from the knowledge that you served I will try to make my point without offending you. Since my mom servese now and I grew up in miltary bases most of my life.

I'll start with this. "The swift boat SOP was violated when he engaged the VC on the beach and when the corpsmen that worked on him testified in regard to the wounds they treated. " All his crewmen said that he saved a mans life by doing this. So you would not violate code to save another humans life? I myself would not give it a second thought and do what i had to save someones life. Which corpsmen are you talking about? You do know that a person is claiming to have treated John Kerry and it is making false statements. Since he never treated him. (Look that one up, im not joking.)

Next. "They’re called “Joe-rumors” in the Army and are very common. You could have heard it through the grapevine that Pvt. Joe Snuffy wasn't good at PT when he wasn't in the same Unit, Battalion or Division. " Well since i grew up around this I can attest to it. But you forget one thing. The "Joe-rumors" are formed by those that serve under their commander. Read up on what those that served under John Kerry believe of him. They all stand behind him and call him a hero. Many viets dislike kerry because he left the field of battle after he got his 3 purple hearts. (Which he legally could do.) After he left he condemend the war. A lot of people dislike him for that very reason. If rumors where true at all times then you would be correct. But rumors are also very very false at times. And this is one of those occasions. Read up on what the guys that served under him thought of him.

Last. I will call you biased. Becuase like you said you are. I strongly believe though if you didn't listen to rumors and did your own research into John Kerry's past that your oppinion will change. Didn't you ever have any rumors that where lies spread around about you when you grew up? Samething applys to this. Also something doesn't add up. Bush lied about his service. Hides the fact that he did. And yet you would rather have him as your commander and chief?! Someone that has never seen what a war really is like? How can he know the strains if he has never been there? I would rather have someone that knows what it is to go face a enemy one on one than a individual that sits behind and desk and orders our soldiers to make scrafices while he has never done so.

 

One last thing. I forgot to add. Who is more coward someone that goes out and volunteers for our country and might die in the process. Or someone that has his daddy save his butt from going and then dispears for 15 days that no one knows where he went. That is fact by the way.
