Nice to hear and thanks for serving.

Have you been given the green-light from tri-care on this yet? I've hear the approval rate is damn pretty low (as of now anyway) according to my sources still in uniform.

If so.... I know you're not in the military and I'd like to know where you get your facts.
in no means do i intend to disrespect military personnel... but i am not a big fan of Tripler... my cousin died in that hospital in the summer of 1995- due to a communication error in terms of records- had it not been for their error my cousin would be living today.

my wife worked there last year(under Kahu Malama Nursing) she said it was the most unprofessional hospital she has ever worked at. She has been at Castle Hospital for the last 3 years... as small as Castle is its the best place she has ever worked at.

shaggadelic(my co-worker).. they screwed up his arm-(picture) you want the details. pm him. i am sure that ther are many good stories abourt Tripler... i just haven't personally seen them.

i am not in the military, but i have the utmost respect for everyone serving there-
but put it this way, i will never trust my daughter to be treated at Tripler Medical Center. thats just my preference. i know that every hospital makes mistakes- but i feel in terms of professionalism- i feel this hospital lacks in that area.

I've had nothing but positive experiences at both Tripler AND Castle. Except, one time I got lost in Tripler b/c it's so freakin huge and I ended up in a wing that was under construction. My fault for being a dumbass little kid who wanted to go exploring, though. Do they still have that little model of the hospital grounds right inside the entrance? I loved that thing.

Addendum: Never had anything serious treated there, just your usual broken wrists and sprained ankles you see on an active pre-adolescent kid. I lived on Ft. Shafter from 90-92 as a dependant.

Crippler Army Medical Center
**** that place I had a captain with hold my IV while I had a 103 degree fever because he said I was giving him attitude. And you know what I was because I'd been sitting there for three, three hours with that temp waiting for someone to help me. So tripler can kiss my ***.
