Another lawyer dead

I wonder how many lawyers are lining up for this job?

I also think that this type of thing will only delay the process, cause more problems for the Iraqi government contrary to popular belief. This just further demonstrates the inability of Iraq as a nation to perform its own security, and ensures that we'll be engaged there longer.

Actually, Blackwater hasn't been protecting them as far as I know. They're either going to offer protection to the next lawyer to fill his spot, or move the trial elsewhere according to CNN.

Ahhh yes, this just goes to prove how the citizens all loved having Saddam in charge. Damn the U.S. for interfering with their great utopia everyone seemed to enjoy so much.

Proving that point is completely meangingless.

Our "intervention" scoffed at international laws and has led us into a precarious position. We, the greatest country on Earth, now advocate pre-emptive strikes on sovereign nations. Because we aren't capable of admitting fault in the wake of poor (borderline misleading) intelligence, we have lost credibility, a loss that could bight our asses when we need to go to war in the future for legitimate reasons.
