Well apparently she is technically wrong. The canadian government never actually sent troops. But alot of Canadians fought in Vietnam under the American Flag and with the blessing of Canada. Whatever that means. So I guess I will give the loon a little bit of the benefit of the doubt on this.

To show it's support to the US, the Canadian gov't "volunteered" some of it's troops to Viet Nam; that's how my high school calculus teacher became a US citizen.
