Suicide bomber strikes hotel in Amman

Deputy Prime Minister Marwan Muasher said the largest blast occurred at the Radisson during a wedding celebration, set off by a suicide bomber wearing a belt packed with explosives.

I saw a news report at school that said Israeli diplomats were escorted from the building hours prior in response to a seperate, possibly unrelated threat.

So no claims of responsibility means it wasn't fanatic islamists? :rotfl: Who would you presume it was? Bush cronies trying to build on thier war on terror by strategically striking thier interests in the name of thier enemies? You folks sure are quick to place the blame on your own countrymen while at the same time being hesitent on labeling someone who wants to decapitate you, your enemy.

I wouldn't doubt it if one person on here believed this.

Three terror bombings that killed at least 56 people in Jordan's capital sparked furious protests against al Qaeda on Thursday after a Web site carried a claim that the group was behind the attacks.

As if there was any question it wasn’t the work of a bunch of crazed Muslims. Zarqawi attacked because Jordan is predominately pro-western and because they just signed a peace treaty with Israel.

Unfortunately for Zarqawi, the hotel they bombed had an important Palestinian family inside for a wedding ceremony. Not sure who it was but he rubbed the wrong lamp. Now Jordanians are chanting "to hell with Zarqawi" in the streets.

Something about muslims chanting "death to Zarquai" gives me the shivers.

The extremist's just keep alienating themselves from the mainstream muslim world without any help from us. Pretty soon the Muslims that have been turning cheek to all the **** Zarqawi and bin Laden do will start to turn against them. I just wish it would happen sooner rather than later.
