I really can't believe this happened. As my wife pulled up to our driveway and parked she heard a loud pop and no brakes, pedal went to the floor. Come to find out that the stud coming out of the brake booster snapped off!! This is one of two studs that holds the brake fluid reservoir onto the brake booster.

Anyone ever heard of this happening? Anyone ever replaced one these booster?

Still under warranty?

 

Warranty ended about 5000 miles ago!! So instead of a new brake booster to fix this problem I had to put a used one in it......oh well.
