Is anyone changing their suspension themselves in the near future?

Here's something I think we'd all like to see:

the 3D geometric path of the suspension as it compresses. But it would take some work. You would have to raise the car on stands, install only the strut (no spring), put the wheel back on, and place a jack under the control arm. Set up a video camera in a fixed place (lke a tripod) straight in line with the tread of the tire and video you jacking the arm up until it hits the bump stops. Even better if you had a magnetic camber gauge stuck onto the wheel when you did this.

I know I'm dreaming, but maybe someone would be curious enough. Heck, if I was changing out my suspension now I'd do it.

Hmmm... maybe we could pool together... I'll throw in $10 to see this. Anybody else?
