are Tanabe DF210 springs any good.
how's the ride?
too bumpy?
and how's the drop?

Obviously you will get different opinions from different people, but the ride is not bad, they seem to be pretty good quality and balance. The drop is not overly aggressive. I am not sure what the actually number is, but you should be able to get that on their website. A lot of people really like the two tanabe options

I think tanabe are one of the few spring manufacturers that make their springs very similar in springrates for the front and rear. Other than that, I have no idea how they ride, though bounciness is determined on how well the spring rate is matched to the stock strut.

I actually greatly prefer even spring rates front and rear on an WRX/STI or even heavy on the back. The car turns so much better with it that way.
