without swaybar

Hi, since my endlink parts is on order, and my stock endlink is in the trash somewhere, my car currently is NOT using a rear sway bar, is this bad to the rear suspension component in anyway as far as damaging the rear suspension?? or i'm just losing performance as far as handling ? main thing is i just want to be sure that if i run the car for 2 weeks without a rear sway bar that im not damaging the car in anyway.

No damage that I am aware of....There are actually alot of peopel who run auot-x with no front or rear swaybars, oddly enough they say it handles better. A guy here in a 98RS does this.

You know, in tight courses, IMO I think that a car needs to lean more...to get more wheel slippage. That way the driver can rotate his/her vehicle(subie) around better. With sway bars, the suspension geometry doesn't change as much, which results in more tire grip.

But you can play with the roll coupling in the front and rear with different sway bar combos...sizes...

NOW TO THE QUESTION.
If the sway bar is not on the vehicle and is stored elsewhere, all you'll notice is understeer when pushed to it's limits. The vehicle will be overall safer. Understeer is safer (at least thats what they say...because if you go too fast, a big front sway bar will make your car understeer and your natural reaction will be to slow down to gain grip).

No damage is done to the suspension components. I'm sure you know how the sway bar works, right?

What I thought was that it just connected to either side of the suspension like a brace (strut brace). I've read up on it several times and never understood it at all. Until I actually look under a car with one and understood how it worked. I made a small suspension model also. Very neat! It was part of a school project. I gotten comments that I explained how the sway bar works better than from whom they've ever heard from.

I guess some of you can call me a suspension Garu....hehe
