Whiteline HD swaybar mounts, any problems?
Hey gang,
Anyone have any trouble with there Whiteline rear HD swaybar mounts?
I heard a clunking in my rear suspension this morning. Closer inspection revealed a broken HD mount on the right side. It fractured along the "L" bend close to the bolt. This setup also had the whiteline bar and HD endlinks.
The funny thing is I have yet to take my wagon to the track! It was basically broken with some moderate canyon carving.
It's possible I have a defective part. I'm going to check with mastro about a replacement, and when I get in tonight I'll try and post a pic.

Pictures as promised,
I'm running the adjustable bar set to middle hole (22mm). I was gonna post over on MRT's Whiteline forum for Jim, but I wanted to see if anyone else had similar problems.

I just wanted to add that I don't believe this broken mount is representative of Whiteline products. I do not want to deter anyone from buying their great stuff!

That's weird as it looks to me like like the point of breakage the mount has twisted away from the chassis. To my thinking this would be from the other side's bolt coming out/undone and leaving the strain on the one side which in turn caused it to pulled down and snapped under strain...

Hi everyone,
My, that is a first. I'm not really sure what happened as that side is usually not that stressed. It could well be a manufacturing fault but either way we will replace straight away (including the other side).
DavideWRX might be right about the cause but please let me know if you have any problems and we will handle it from here.
Cheers

I have Whiteline H/D swaybar mount with a Cusco 22mm bar and Perrin endlinks. I had MRT endlinks at first and they seemed to make to much noise,I installed the Perrin's no noise. The only problem I had with the Whiteline H/D mount kit was the bushings they only sent me one ea. 22mm, one ea. 20mm and two ea. 24mm. I was noticing some shifting of my swaybar laterally and the bushings are coming out of the mounts. I just installed some Energy Suspension greaseable sway bar bushings 22mm there nice and this has stopped all noise but still have a little shifting next will be Perrin antishift kit. .
