The AGX's, for the money can't be beat IMHO.
p-s-t.com has them for $389 shipped. If you don't see them on the website, just call 'em and ask for em.

F: Noltec camber/caster tops, RS*R Down springs
R: STi group N tops, Prokit springs
AGX's on 3/3
I had to change the Prokits out in front 'cuz the Noltec's raised the front rideheight by 3/4"...the RS*R's brought it back down.
The Prokits were a bit too soft, anyway but they would be an excellent choice for the AGX's in places with bad roads. Here where I live the roads are usually very good except for construction areas and I could get away with A LOT stiffer suspension if I wanted...I could run the AGX's on 4/4 and get away with it, I think

I'm running Perrin springs w/ AGXs. I haven't tracked my car w/ this set up yet (waiting until 03/22/04), but as far as my 70 miles of daily commuting, this set up has been great so far. IMO, AGXs are a better value than Koni inserts.

I agree that ProKits are a bit soft, but bear in mind they are intended for use with stock struts. It's really too bad it's so hard to find a properly matched strut/spring combo without going to coilovers.

NOT KONI!!!. I went with Koni after talking to some X-crossers. None of them doing their own install or owners of WRXs. I got them from Tirerack for about $300. Install is messy and crude with instructions all in signs, nonething writen out. Also, on the installing of the last strut, the strut nut stripped on thr koni strut rod. I did that with a 1/2 ratchet and one hand. Nowhere near the torque to tighten it down. But what chould I do? I had just cutup the stock struts to install the Koni strut inserts.
What bullsh*t! But wait there is more!
Two weeks later the wife comes home, the WRX is her daily driver, and tells me there is oil all over the rear rim. The koni strut had blown oil everywere and was dead. Now I'm stuck with these pieces of sh*t and unable to go back to the stock struts.

With the Noltec tops putting the strut tops effectivly 3/4" lower than the stock tops the RS*R's are just right.
And, yes I know about the "1.4 inch" thing.
There is no other solution unless the stock rideheight is maintained which is just too damn high. So...
I have had no problems and if I do, replacements are cheap....A LOT cheaper than any other alternative.

So the Noltecs effectively move the spring perch 3/4" below the top of the strut shaft? That is pretty cool then, that would allow KYBs to be used with lower springs. I thought you meant that they moved both points 3/4".

The Noltec's effectivly lower the front upper strut mount point 3/4", and thus the front rideheight is increased by 3/4" which necessitates a shorter spring to bring the front back down.
I had the Eibach's which are -1.3F and went to the RS*R's which are -1.8"F and this change made the front rideheight acceptable, wheras it was just too damn high with the Eibach's.
The Noltecs do not lower the perch, they lower the level of the top of the strut shaft and anything/everything attached, whicn raises the whole front of the car.
