This is just me personally, but i really like Cobb's products. Im running their front and rear sway bars on my 04'wrx and 05'legacy gt. Their deff worth the money and it will not disrupt daily driving (i drive 30miles to work everyday). I didnt get the strut braces from them, though thats also a good upgrade. You really only need a rear strut as the front wont make too much of a difference. www.cobbtuning.com will offer you staged packages that are reasonably priced, you should check them out. Good luck.

Bars are bars I agree but, some different brands have weight differences.

for daily driver, front strut bar is not needed from I hear, since the towers are so close to the firewall. and rear one seems to benefit more for a wagon. bars wise, some brand makes 2 way adjustable(cusco), some 3 ways(whiteline). stock front is 20mm, rear is 17mm. match them at 22mm or go bigger at the rear.

Its not the brand that matters, just find ones that fit your driving style. Depends on how you want to change the handling.

Brand matters. Weight, stiffness, paint and powercoat quality and part fittment don't happen by accident. There are companies that actually test and research their product, and don't just whip up a cheap copy of someone else's product out of low-quality steel.

Whiteline or Cusco (Cobb parts are Cusco parts rebranded). Period. Everything else is junk or outrageously overpriced (see: JDM STI factory strut bar). Only buy from a company that has actually fielded a race car.

The front strut bar actually does make quite a difference, especially with aftermarket wheels and tires. Sticky tires put much more force on the struts than the factory tires, especially with a larger contact patch from wider rims.

Oh, also, titanium strut bars are a joke -- titanium is an extremely flexible metal, the exact opposite of what you want. Ride a titanium-frame bike sometime, you'll see what I mean...

Talking My .02 Cents!

I have the 7/8" IPD/SubySolutions front and 3/4" adjustable rear on my wagon. This thing doesn't move off line EVER.

I have the rear adjusted full hard ~ some may think it a bit 'loose' but I love it. I can pivot on the tight stuff and on the hairy fast corners it falls back into a benign light understeer ~ pretty well damn perfect.

Thumbs up All Bars Arent The Same

For daily driving I use cobb as well. I use Cobb hollow adjustable sway bars they're light, adjustable if you wanna be more serious, make my driving more comfortable not leaning everywhere as much, and most important ! AFFORDABLE !
