What are these springs?

Someone is selling these springs but they don't know what they are. All they know is that they are from JDM takeoffs and should fit the 02-03 wrx.

Does anyone recognize these? If you do, how would the ride quality be and how much would they lower the car? Also would they fit an 03 wrx without any other components? thanx

'scuse me for saying so but they kind of look like worn out pieces of cr.p. Take a look at some of the vendor sites that offer jdm take off or even eibac springs and look at the difference in the way the coils are spaced.

they look like blue worn out progressive (not linear) springs that would ride too low for an impreza and give a really soft ride until the end where they would get very harsh or bottom out easily.

What type of ride are you looking for? Soft, low, competition? Without knowing that you really can't just look at a spring and know if is for you.

Actually, I have a set of eibachs that I took off after about 5k miles, I decided to go with ground control coil overs. I will sell them too you for 1/2 of the lowest online vendor price you can find. I am in the Bay Area also, pm me if you're interested.

ha...saw 'em on ebay too...Id stay away

I'm curious if anyone's tried maxspeed springs. sure they're probably s--tty, but they dont drop too low and if they arent that stiff they might not wear out the stock struts very quickly

These were just a cheap ebay item, and I was wondering if they were worth getting or not. I ended up not winning the auction.
