Are your wheels unbalanced?

It's just a thought, but you should balance them every oil change but I don't. Maybe every rotation for optimum performance. How many miles are on your car? Get that screw taken out and get a patch.

Question

Hey,

I think I may have a similar problem. I have an 04' Rex and I installed Tein H-tech springs with stock struts, and driving my car around town is fine (lower speeds), but on the highway as soon as I precisely hit 60mph, I get this annoying vibration that goes throughout the entire car, across the whole chassis as it feels. But only under acceleration like yours. If i hit 60mph, or any speed for that matter, and I let off the gas completely, the vibration is gone. It only happens under a load. It's also typical for it to occur around 3000rpms at speeds around 60mph in 4th gear.

The part that gets everyone that I've told this too is WHEN I REMOVE THESE SPRINGS AND PUT THE STOCK ONES BACK IN, THE CAR IS ABSOLUTELY FINE.

I CAN'T FIGURE IT OUT, Any help from anyone is greatly appreciated.

Thanks, WRedX

sounds like a weight may have fallen off of one of your tires.......or a bent rim will also cause vibrations like this.....but if putting the stock springs back on makes the problem go away....that just doesnt make sense, unless you have a defective strut......I dunno.....I have the Tein S-Tech springs on my car, and have never had any issues (other than that time I hit a curb and bent a rim, and LCA).

this is under cruising or acceleration?

if so, it sounds like it's the tires or the rim itself. Try getting it balanced, and it's also a good habit to rotate the wheels every 3-5k.
