Uneven tire wear!!!
Alright, I have a big problem on my hands and it's stressing me out. I got my car alligned yesterday and noticed that my fronts are worn very badly on the insides. Camber was set at -1.0 before the allignment, so I don't think it's a camber issue. Also, the wear pattern is really strange. I rotated my tires at 67,000 miles (I have 71,000 miles on the car right now) and there was no abnormal wear on any of the tires. After the allignment, I decided to rotate them again to put the bad ones on the rear. I'm fairly certain that something happened in the last 4,000 miles to cause this horrendous wear issue, because the tires that were in the rear were evenly worn (and they had been in the front just 4,000 miles ago).
To be safe, I dropped the front camber to -0.5 on the front. As you can see from the pictures, I need new tires. However, I'm afraid to get new tires and then have them wear out in the exact same way.
I know this story is confusing, but please help me out in any way that you can.
Thanks guys.

I have some new information. I took off the front tires and did some looking around at the tie rod ends and found some interesting stuff. First off, I could tell that they adjusted the driver's side tie rod when I got it alligned. That's good news since it means that my toe probably was out and that might be the whole problem. However, when I was inspecting where the tie rod end connects to the wheel assembly, I noticed that there was some grease coming out from the boot around the tie rod end. Of course, they are non-greaseable tie rod ends, so I can't just re-grease it. The driver's side was the only one that was leaking grease, but I could pull both boots down a little to see the actual tie rod end shaft underneath. I think the boots are only to keep dirt off the tie rod end and not so much for lubrication.
My questions are, should I replace the boots on the tie rod ends, can I replace the boots, how easy is it to replace them?
Thanks for the help and the long read.

How's the new tires and alignment? I did the same thing and just had the same problem. They seemed ok at first. At around 12000 miles I saw some signs of the same problem. I got a new alignment for free and thought i was doing. I checked often and rotated often. (its mostly the drivers side) I checked about 1000 ago and it still seemed ok. I now have 19000 miles on the tires and some time in the last 1000 my tires were destroyed. Same problem. The tires look just like yours. This is the second time?????
Any thoughts. I hoped someone has figures it out. I havent hit anything
Thanks for the help.
