Tein springs + KYB shocks
Hi,
Got a 03 WRX Wagon and am ready to make my first mod. I am looking at getting the Tein STech springs with KYB AGX struts ($660). Does anyone have good/bad things to say about this setup? What about the price? I like to drive fast in the mountains, autocross, and occassionally drive to work. Thanks for the info.

Tein/KYB
I would advise against mixing and matching parts. I have not had experience with these brands but i have tried different parts on different cars and unless you are very familar with spring rates and damping. Go with what a company spent a lot of money developing and buy a set of springs and shock developed together. I'm out!
I plan on a similar setup but I have Skunk 2's adj. coilover springs and will be going with Koni. 1) I've ridden in vehicles with both and like Koni's ride better 2) They have a lifetime warrany, I'm not sure KYB does 3) They done't have KYB's out yet for us.
Keep us updated on what you do!

Well I guess KYB is SOL then
KYB does not make springs only shocks and struts. You can mix and match components especially from the likes of Koni, KYB, and Tokiko. I dont see people complaning about those other brands.

Great comparison there Joey!
Lets compare a $1300+ coilover setup to a $600+ budget suspension upgrade.
