Tein Springs

Just got in my new Tein springs that should hold me over till I can afford full coilovers. I'm planning on putting them in tomorrow. When reading through the install instructions, it mentions that you need to cut the bump stop down. The amounts are .6" or .8" on the fronts & 1.6" (!) on the rears. Anyone done this before & can give me any advice? I'm thinking to use a hacksaw on them unless someone else can point me in another direction.
Thanks!
Eric

Seems that there is an error on the Tein specs sheet. I couldn't find any bump stop at all on the strut...
I only managed to put the fronts on - pretty weird driving home from my 'shop' with just the fronts - it feels like I'm in a 68 Camaro or something. Even my mirror angles are off. I just couldn't get to the rear lower strut mount bolt to get it off. No way to get a socket on there without removing the axle & I tried for 1 1/2 hours with a closed end wrench, liquid wrench & a rubber mallet to no avail. I guess I'll take it to a shop tomorrow to have the rears done.
