is the new 04sti tein springs same drop as the 03's?

I ordered the 04sti tein s tech and i just want to know how low it is for 04 sti.

Car Info: PnP VF30 w/ STi injectors Perrin intake walbro fuel pump w/ a TXS TBE

Has anyone w/ the Tein S-tech springs done any type of performance lapping ie: track days or auto cross. I'm looking into going w/ a set of springs temperarly until i can afford a set of cusco's or teins.

second the 04 drop on teins. i have them on my 03 wrx and what a huge difference it makes. no bounce, stiff, less body roll. i have not autoxed them though. i would like to get a pair for the sti im getting next week. anyone with teins on an sti care to comment. thanks.

I've been informed that the S-Tech springs now have an application available for the 04 STi and am very interested in getting them. In all my previous rides, I always changed the stock struts when installing lowering springs. My question is that will this also be a necessity on my Sti? Does the stock Sti strut have enough valving to work with the lowered ride height?

did you have to do anything to the rear struts to get the rear springs to fit? or did they fit snugly all around?
