Tein Flex owners,satisfaction Q?
For those of you who have this suspension, i would like to know what you think of it ie: likes dislikes. The reason i'm asking is bcs i've just recently purchased a set of these with the EDFC and i've been told that there are alot of people dissatisfied with it bcs of some rear end noise from the mounts banging or something? I would like to know what everyday driving is like and most importantly what its like on the track ie solo II events or just your everyday hard cornering and even drag racing...is there alot of lift on hard launches like there is with the stock? .........I know alot Q's but they weren't cheap and i want to make sure i'm going to be satisfied with this set up, i do alot of solo events and everyday hard cornering.
Thanks,

Well, I don't own them but you might want to hear this...
I wanted the Tein Flex pretty bad. I was ready to buy but had heard some negative reports about them. To be fair, I had heard negative stuff about EVERY coilover out there for the WRX at the time, about 4-5 months ago.
So, I found a buddy who had a WRX sedan with the Flex/EDFC and took a ride. While he was driving, I was very disappointed with the amount of noise in the rear. It was like you were popping corn back there. So I thought, well maybe the handling will impress me enough to look past the noise.
When I drove it, I thought the car was very mushy in its handling. He set it to full hard in the front and I wasn't impressed there either. In fact, my sedan with stock struts and Prodrive springs handled much better in my opinion.
I just stuck with the stock struts/Prodrives and I'm happy. Maybe a year from now I'll consider coilovers again...
Good luck, I hope you're happy with 'em.
