I have OE rotors and can feel a little lip (may be .5mm) on the outer edge of the OE rotors since the install about six months ago. My bedding procedure is as follow per instructions from Stoptech. May be I'll do another bedding procedure.

You don't really need to turn the rotors unless there are severe surface disruptions that will transfer to the new pads. If they look OK, and don't have any vibration, I'd run them as is.
I'm attaching a .pdf file of our bed-in procedure we use for our kits. Basically, for a street set-up, I'd recommend a seires of maybe 6-8 stops from 60-5 or 10 MPH. Each stop wants to be maybe 70% of lockup or ABS intervention; a nice firm stop, no cool off between each stop. If you start to fade the pads, particularly in the first cycle of stops, back off and let it cool. Consider each 6-8 stops a "cycle" You should let the system cool after each cycle. 2 cycles is good, 3 is better.
Note, by just normally driving for a couple hundred miles you'll bed the pads, but since most our customers can't wait to go hammer on the brakes, we try and accelerate the process.
Let me know if you have any questions-
