Swaybar or ALK???
So I can't decide which one i want first... I just put 17 on the car and I am likeing the handling so for but the lift that I am getting is bugging me especially when I am offroading. Its very annoying to hear the front tires squealing. Anyways, I was going to order a sway bar first but now I am thinking I should get the ALk first because I can't afford all the other stuff I should get with the sway bar (mounts, links, bushes...etc..)
Any suggestions?

Get the Perrin rear swaybar kit. It comes w/ the heavy duty mounts already. Although it would be ideal to get the endlinks at the same time, you can wait and save up for that in no time. IMO, the rear sway bar will make a bigger difference on the handling of your car.

I got the Perrin RSB and Endlinks at the same time and what a difference they made. No more understear and they reduced body roll. Got mine for about $300 shipped. Install took about 1 hour.

Agreed, I have the Perrin rear sway bar and the Perrin endlinks. By far the best susp mod for the money. Call Sean at www.rallitek.com and tell him that Joel sent you, he'll give you a great deal shipped.

As much as I am a huge proponent of the Whiteline ALK, a rear sway bar will make the single largest improvement on your handling. An adjustable is highly recommmend as it allows you to change the bar rate as you change your suspension around or under different conditions.

Both are VERY worthwhile upgrades and should not be overlooked. That said everyone has it right when they reccomend doing the rear bar first. It will make the most dramatic improvement to your handling after better rubber.
Although HD mounts and endlinks are nice to have they are not essential and can be done later, HD mounts are really only an essential if you plan on using the middle or sbiggest bar settings (go adjustible, that way you can back it off if you need to do driving in snow rain or other conditions where a bigger bar will hurt) hard on rough roads. Getting a kit like the Progress or Perrin (rebadged progress) bar will handle the bar and mounts at the same time and just leave you with deciding on which one of the many quality endlinks you want to go with later ( Whiteline HD, and Kartboy are at the top for P/U bushings, go Perrin for spherical solid pillowball) Whereas a Hollow bar like the Zeal or Hotchkis will save you ALOT of unsprung weight although you will have to get the mounts later along with your endlinks...
Then after you get the rear bar handled. You can go with the ALK (If you're not really bothered by a little more NVH the Race version is an option) and you will be VERY VERY pleased...

Is a great start on a very competent suspension setup.
Good Luck
