Hey guys, I'm new to this particular forum and I have a question for you. I just bought some suspension parts from a WRX Sedan including shocks, springs, and front control arms with ball joints. What I would like to know is what can I use? My car is a 1995 Impreza L Wagon 1.8L AWD 5 spd with 4 wheel disc and ABS.

I'm expecting the control arms not to be compatible because of a different mounting point but I;m not totally sure. Also I know I'll need to get springs from a wagon for the rear.

I am very sure that the control arms will not work, but don't be too sure you can't use the Struts/Springs. You may have to do some custom work (moving brackets on the strut, or brake line adjustment, etc.) I was doing some research about the suspension differences between a 95 L' and a WRX, and I found the main differences here-


Strut/springs/coilovers - different
Rear sway - fits (not found on the 95' L stock)
front sway - different
Rear Lateral arm/trailing arms - fits
Front control arms - different
F/R endlinks - fits

aftermarket parts
F/R Strut tower bars - different
ALK - fits
Lower arm bar - ?
V-underbraces - ?
