Suspension Help
i was wondering if anyone could recommend a good brand of coilovers for my 03 wagon..i am looking for lowered look but with great ride..i have tein ha's on my car now but i think this type of coilover is not good for a slammed height. i was looking into maybe tein flex's, cusco's. and JIC.any help would be great...thanks.

KW Variant 3's. Only $2k or so...
To be honest... no such thing as a comfortable coilover set-up. You can always go shocks and springs. That'll be the best comfort set-up, or you can try the Megan's or BC's...
No matter though...
I'd say go with shock/spring combo. If you aren't racing your car, get shocks and springs. The price difference and the warranty, in my opinion, are more worthwhile.

I agree-- coilovers were the worst upgrade I have made to my wrx. Its been three years and I finally have the coin to replace them with new shocks and springs. Coilovers have ruined my driving experience for way too long, except for the three times I had it on the track. I went with Ohline fixed perch wth sti prodrives to be exact! I am stoked they should be on next week. Best upgrade ever= Big brakes!!

thanks for everyones input, i know springs have a better ride but i want the option of lifting it back to stock height because in hawaii we have to get safety check and springs won't pass, so i was just wondering what would be a better coilover, for a slammed ride but decent..i am leaning toward tein flex's.

Unless you are going to drive it like you stole it, in my humble opinion, most street going cars are better off with springrates around stock, good adjustable shocks and slightly bigger (non monster size) swaybar. Especially considering how few "corners" there are in daily driving.
