APR Wind Splitter...

Hey guys,
I just got a bunch of goodies for the car and one them happens to be a front wind splitter from APR. I guess I assumed that it was going to be easy but it seems that's not the case. Has anyone had experience installing this part?? If you have your advice would be much appreciated!! Thanks guys....

Ya man I thought the same thing but when I opened the box there were were no pre-drilled holes in the splitter and no directions witch made this install a PITA. What you want to do is first remove the stock splash sheild on the bottom of the car then remove your front bumper the tabs on the bottom of the bumper will be the holes you use with the new bolts that come with the splitter. Place the splitter on the ground then place you bumper over top line the sides of the bumper with the flat side of the splitter there should be a few inches sticking out from the front if aligned properly but make sure you dont stretch the bumper when aligning. When lined up you'll notice the tabs on the bottom of the bumper those are the holes you will need to drill through on the splitter itself after you drill the holes you can now secure the bumper to the splitter with the supplied bolts I believe I drilled 4 holes on each side of the splitter evenly spaced apart. After you bolt the splitter to the bumper you will now need to mount the supplied shock absorbers, I installed mine next to the last hole i drilled twards the front of the splitter align both shocks evenly then drill holes through the splitter secure the bottom of the shock to the splitter then align shock to your bumper, make sure both shocks are the same length because they are adjustable then drill through the front of the bumper and secure the top of the shocks make sure they are locked and tight. After everything is bolted down you are now ready to reinstall your front bumper. This install was a PITA but in the end it was all worth it, I love the way it looks on my sti. Good luck man I hope this helps.

Thanks for the write up man!! Much appreciated. Your STi looks really good. I think I will probably do it with the bumper on most likely if I can get some help. Although, it would probably be a lot easier just taking the whole thing off. I guees we will see...
