sti v7 or v8 suspension?

sti v7 or v8 suspension?
I've read a few threads that said there really isn't much difference between the two. I'm in the market for picking up a set and the only difference I'm seeing is the price.
The car's only a daily driver (02 sedan). Price difference I'm seeing is about $50. If I can save $50 and go with v7 takeoffs I'll do it, but if it's worth $50 more for v8 let me know.
yes, $50 is nothing to some, but I've got a limited amount of cash on hand and I'm trying to spend wisely.
