Hmmm. I am not sure. I think the mounting point between the strut and hub maybe be different for any year other than the '04 STi. I know it isn't much info, but hopefully someone can chime in and give you a definite answer.

I usually see them for around 200 to 400 or so.
I think KYB AGX with STi springs would be a better cheap solution. You can get just the STi springs for like 40 bucks. Tokico D Specs are even better but are like 540 shipped. You'll probably want the STI strut top mounts since the 2.5i ones are super soft.

try installing it yourself, it took me about hour and half to install new springs for my two fronts. (my 3rd time). its not hard at all as long as you have the right tools. sure there is diy all over the suby forums.
one thing i did mess up, i had no idea on doing it so my friend was helping me.
didnt use spring compressor so when we took the top nut out, everything just launched out and there was this washer looking thing. my friend, who's more experienced with honda's figured it was the washer going on top of the strut before the top mount...installed it and the whole spring was turning as i turned the wheel. the problem was, that washer like item is actually a piece that goes between the top mounts, not between strut and mount.

i thought about doing it myself but i really don't want to mess up and break something. i've never installed springs :/.
i might ask my friend to help me out. he has a garagefull of tools and what not.
but if that doesn't work does anyone know about how much a shop will do it for?
