STI motor mounts on WRX?
STI motor mounts on WRX?
Will stock STI motor mounts fit on a WRX? My mounts are going out, and was wondering if that would be a quick and clean upgrade rather than going all out for race mounts.

The stock STi motor mounts are the same as the WRX mounts. If you want stiffer mounts you need to order the Group N mounts. For the Tranny mounts the stock STi is marginally stiffer (only because it's filled all the way) but the Group N is the better way to go.

Are the STI mounts stronger than the WRX ones? I would imagine they would be. The STI Group N's are on some serious back order and no shop here can get them now. Thats why I was looking into just some new stock mounts for now. Don't really want to mess anything else up.

Got some STI group N mounts installed. Feels tighter now. I had asked about the stock STI mounts vs WRX mounts and was told they were the same. The japan version of the STI mounts are much better than the US versions. Either go with a japan STI mount or a STI group N mount.
they feel really good. don't notice any extra vibrations at all. it could be that my old ones were sooo bad that the new mounts are improvements. i did all the mounts, the two motor mounts, the tranny mount and the pitch stop mount.
