STi 4 pot brakes
Since I've had the 4-pot brakes installed along with the Sti brake pads, I notice a lot of brake dust.
Can anyone recommend some pads that don't have so much dust? My ride is a daily driver.

Forgot to add that I have the DBA slotted/drilled rotors.
Is it the pads or because of the rotors, maybe both?
The Sti pads are nice and quiet, but just after 1 week of driving, ugly brake dust. My wife must think I'm nuts just to wash the car because the rims were dirty..

Okay, I have to ask, which type of STI pads do you have? The pads is what is causing all the dust. Because there are the Pink sport ones or the stock black ones.
The black ones will dust up really quick. That is normal, but it is a really good street pad.
I have a set of the Pink Pads also. And boy do they just want to eat up the rotor really fast. I would recommend staying away from those. They will eat your rotors up pretty fast.
Even with the DBA rotors the pads will still dust up really quick. That is just the nature of that particular pad compound.
Now if you want something with a little more grip and a little (and I mean just a tad) less dust, then go with AXXIS Ultimate pads. Those are great and I recommend them to anyone. I have the 4pots on my RS and I have the stock pads. I will switch them out once I wear the current set out. I have put the Ultimates on the Legacy. Boy do they stop really good. I have a couple of friends who have put this pad on their car and say that they love it. I am sooner or later going to stock pile some for myself and my friends in the future.

they sell little or no dust pads. i forget which site had them, but i was a little skeptical about them as the brake material has to go somewhere. if there is no dust, then are the pad eating up your rotors.

Axxis Deluxe Plus are supposedly really good for low dust, low temp efficiency range, and better-than-OEM performance. I haven't put 'em on yet (I have a set sitting in my room) but I've heard enough good things about them to give 'em a try.

The EBC green pads are far far better than the stock pads than came on my wrx.
It mabe that I became lazy after I got the pads and did not clean the wheels for a while, they do seem cleaner that the factory pads. I have no Idea how dusty the sti 4-pot pads are.
I just meant that they are not dust free

Axxis Ultimates on my brembos= very noisy when cold and very dusty. 50mi. of driving made my Anthracite P7s look BLACK instead of dark grey. My biggest complaint with the axxis was the cold temperature noise. They howled like a banshee until you did some aggressive driving and warmed them up.
Hawk HPS=no cold noise, hardly any dust, a little less bite but still no fade. I just put these on around 400mi ago and so far I am very pleased.
