spring installation

I want to put my oem springs back on my ride. Do I need to use any type of spring compressor to remove and install my springs?

To be safe you should. AutoZone lends them out for free so there is no reason not to get some.

An extra set of hands is enough to compress the spring so you can remove the nuts from the strut top. Compressors are safer of course though.
