did not know what forum to put this in. I was driving normal to work, and all of a sudden clunk clunk clunk. sounds like some on put a stick in my driver front wheel. I have not raced my car in like 2 months due to tranny problems. I was going like 30 mph. dut dut dut dut dut dut. dont really know how else to describe it. Im so frustrated. anyone have any idea?

also, when I accelerate on it the noise goes away. or if i press the brake hard. dont know if that helps at all.

 

I'm not sure if it's the same, but that happend when I had my truck, and It was my wheel bearings that were shot... You could go have a mechanic check it out...

 

its at my dealership now, they say they cannot look at it till tomorrow.

 

ona my friends had the same type deal... it ended up that his lugs were all loose... it got so bad and noticable that the thing that alerted him was the wheel whobbling back and forth... what did the dealer find?

 

I am having the same problem and I think it is my wheel bearing. Did you find out if it was the wheel bearing? I put on my extended studs recently and I think hammering out the OEM ones may have messed up one of my wheel bearings. Let me know if that was the problem.
