should i sell my coilovers and go with springs?
should i sell my coilovers and go with springs?
as much as i like the height adjustability and overall handling of coilovers, im somewhat tired of carefully going up and down driveways. i've seen so many wrxs that are still stock height or barely lowered that still look sweet with nice rims. maybe i should go with a set of springs that will give it a good drop and work with the stock shocks.
any suggestions? stick with the coilovers or go with some springs and use the extra money for a vf34 package? haha

if you want some good springs u can check www.crucialracing.com so if you decide to get springs and sell your coilovers let me know =)
^^^^ Depends on what you use your car for. Do you auto-x, drive mountains, ect? If you do, I'd stick with adjustable coilovers. Do you just want to look slammed? If this is the case, sell coilovers and get springs.

Springs: Prodrives...Coilovers: Cusco
If you go the Springs route...I would look at Prodrives...Had those on and they don't drop you like the TEIN S-Techs...but it is noticable and looks nice...This is pretty much the lowest a spring can drop you without scraping...front and rear drops are almost even...no saggy a$$ look...
I had Espelir ASD's, Prodrives for springs and TEIN Flex w/EDFC. I now have Cusco coilovers and can say hands down, these are the best I've used...no bouncing on the highway and smooth. My sti is my daily driver...I've adjusted my height to about 1.5 fingers front and rear...and scrape on only the most of inclines and speed bumps...I don't want to go any lower. The Prodrives gave about a 2 2.5 finger gap between the tires and fender, rarely did I ever scrape...just to give you an idea...

i decided to sell my coilovers and go with springs. i dont even care about dropping my car that low anymore. i rather get $900+ back and use it towards springs... and then use the extra $500 towards a vf34 setup. it sucks to drive a slammed car these days so i might as well keep it conservative.
can anyone recommend me some lowering springs that will work with stock shocks?? i dont want to sacrifice ride comfortability...
