Thumbs up shocks and springs?

hey... what is everyone doing for shocks and springs. I did it the cheap way and just got eibach springs (pro kit). Anyways, I was thinking of some shocks to match it or just change the springs and shocks to a different set-up. If you can tell me your set-up w/ a price I'd apreciate it. I'm sure everyone else would like to know what set-up is best and which is better for the money.

15,000 miles ago the springs were hella good. The ride definetly stiffer than stock and takes a bit of the swaying away, but after putting so many miles on it, the shocks need to be changed. Now since I have done a bit of research, I really should have gotten agx adjustables installed at the same time. The eibach's are pretty good though, alot of people reccommed the pro kit over the sportlines or other springs lowering it too much. You'll enjoy it, but if you could, do the shocks too.

If your somewhat serious about achieving an enlightening degree of handling you should save your pennies for a fully adjustable set of coilovers. Typically once you get used to the higher spring and damping rate of an H&R (or Eibach)/KYB setup, eventually you will want to be able to dial in more agressive handling. While the KYBs and performance springs are great initially, and for a while thereafter, it is wiser to invest in the racing, or pseudo-racing, coilovers from the start...if you really want to push your chassis to the limit.

I really like the coilovers, but I hate how it rides on two hour drive trips. It would be the way to go if I was not driving it everyday.

Well, I had the Tein springs that were supposedly "Forester specific" on my Forester for a week.

dropped the front about 3 inches. Looked low and cool.

dropped the rears about 4 inches. Tucked wheels under wheel well. Not so cool.

Went to Tein, and they put my stock units back on. Promised me they were going to be bringing Forester 'coilover' suspension into US, but never did.
