rubbing issue on prodrive springs?
I have Prodrive springs on my '02 wagon. They suck.
The spring rate combined with the excessive front lowering results in hard front crash-through over rough road and a generally underdamped ride quality.
No rubbing though. Why would you think that lowering springs would result in the tires rubbing the wheelhouses? The wheel trajectory is not changed by altering the curb position within the wheel travel range.
I'm currently planning on using the '04 STI pink springs (with new top mounts) and Koni Sport strut inserts. I'll let you know how that is.

Odd that you'd get 2 such varying responses on the same product/application. Question for blue5spdwrxwgn, how many miles were on your stock struts when the springs were installed? I'm looking into this for my 05 wagon, and want to get as much info (good and bad) as possible.
Also, get some pics up of these wagons when you get a chance.
Thanks,
Chris

My car, which I got in June of 2001, has about 17k on it now and I've had the springs on for a year.
Maybe the '04 Prodrives are better, but I don't even like the way mine make the car look, the front just looks low to me. Prodrive has lowered the front more than the back, presumably in order to get the fender gaps to look equal, but that causes the rockers and sills to slope down alot toward the front.
I've heard that the pink STI springs lower the front more moderately and the spring rates are about the same, '02 Prodrives vs. '02 STI pinks.
The '04 pinks are considerably stiffer. I think that's because they're designed as an upgrade for the USDM STI.
