Replacing Struts on 03 WRX

I just got new wheels and tires on my 03 WRX sedan, and I need to also replace my struts. Does anyone know a reasonable esitmate of labor time it takes for a shop to replace all four? The price they're quoting me on KYB-GR2s is too high, and they're trying to convince me that it'd cost more or break even to buy them elsewhere.

I appreciate the help. Thanks.

Most shops I've seen will take no more than 40 minutes per strut but charge for a full hour 'cause they can. I've done them in 3 hours myself. I bought my own spring compressor a long time ago and refuse to pay someone 300+$ to do it. F ' THAT! I've seen 'em done in less than 2 hours though using a big time copressor mounted on a work bench.

for a shop to complete this shouldn't take any more than 2 hours. if you were to do it yourself and take your time, it shouldn't take anymore than 3 hours barring any complications\broken tools etc. first time i took my struts off and on the car took about 3 hours of total wrenching time.

thanks for the replies, guys. this helps a lot. i've had a hell of a time trying to get help with some suspension/tire problems. the one shop I found that actually took the time to come up with some answers is unfortunately quoting me 4-6 hours on the replacement.
