More torque on the caliper bracket bolts.

when you say take your front calipers off, do you mean all the way off? i have an o3, so i don't know if it's any different, but all you have to do is remove the bottom caliper bolt and rotate the caliper up.

try using a bit of persuassion.

Persuassion = big rubber mallet.

Also of note.....make sure you are loosening the bolt. Its easy to rotate the wrong direction......heh I know first hand...
