hey guys im new to the whole subaru awd thing. i wanna start getting into rallying. i go off road all the time, i want some ideas on what to do first. besides preventative skid plates etc . i wanna know what springs are being used my members and what shock combos. so let me please know if your rallying what suspension you use and success with it.

 

in terms of rallying youd need a lot to compete.
an approved cage
skid plate for the front and rear
approved bucket seats
4+ pt harnesses
rally coilovers. people usually use dms50's, but there are cheaper alternatives out there like the tein hgs.
but theres a lot of other things you gotta get too:
restrictor for the turbo (if you have one)
rally computer
2 or so extinguishers
dot triangles
jack
tow rope
steering wheel, removal of airbags

theres a lot to invest in. i believe some people offer packages to prep you car.
youre looking at 8000 bucks or more.
