Racing Brake vs. Stoptech

I have a set of 17" Rota Formels on my car and would like to get a BBK as my stock brakes don't feel like they are up to the task on the track anymore. The Stoptech BBk will not fit under the Formels but will the Racing Brake BBK or are there any BBKs that will fit under Formels? Also how is the quality/performance of the Racing Brake BBK vs the Stoptech BBK?

thanks,
David

I would assume the Perrin 4pot would fit as well. I currently have them and they fit under stock 16" wheels.

That racing brake price is horrible...if your gonna buy em, dont buy em from racing brake. id look into the perrin kit or the twr kit. the twr kit is little pricey but they fit under the stock wrx wheels.

stoptech and racingbrake 4 POT caliper, both are made in Taiwan. Both can use for 300mm & 330mm rotor (if they want to sell you the 300mm rotor for 16' wheel.) The only matter is the adaptor for the caliper. But you are right, racingbrake is a more expensive than stopetech. Stoptech also has bigger piston for the caliper.

I'll be selling my Perrin kit as soon as I find a replacement kit (looking at stoptech or maybe wilwood 6piston )

+++for twr. 2years later and about 20 track days and they are still working great. I have the 4pot/2pot set up under my oem 16" stockers with r-compound tires.

Another vote for TWR here. I have the 4pot fronts and they're great. After about a years worth of beating on them, they're still going strong. I'm going to be getting the rears soon...
