Proper ride height for MY04 WRX

Hi guys,

I searched the forum and did not find the information I'm looking for. What's the proper ride height for WRX?or reasonable drop for improved handling and daily driving?

I have TEIC basics coilover on MY04 WRX. The coilover is currently on factory settings. I think it's about 2inchs drop.

TIA

You need to get your car aligned by a professional shop. The ride height will determine the corner weights and rake of the car. I would go for something in the range of 50/50 front to rear weight distribution and set the cross weights equal to eachother. I don't have coilovers, so I'm not sure if this is possible but you should be able to get close.

Lower the car as much as possible. Just remember that the more you lower the car you will need stiffer sway bars, or you will actually get a car that handles worse than at stock ride height.

Make sure you get your car aligned by someone that knows
what they are doing.Look around for a reputable shop to do
the work.
