Prodrive Springs

Hi all,

I have a 03 wrx sedan that's a daily commuter. I was originally planning on purchasing 17s to improve handling but due to a limited budget, have opted against going this route. With this said, I would like to get some feedback from the knowledgeable in regards to prodrive springs. I was thinking about having them installed to improve the handling. However, I am not sure if the 16 rims + stock potenzas will be an issue (rub). I am new to the aftermarket scene and would appreciate any response that you could provide for me.

In addition, the goal is to have a daily commuter that handles really well on the zig zags/corners and at the same time, does not sacrifice too much of the comfort. Is this possible? Thanks all

i've got prodrives on my 04. i run 17in rotas in the summer, and switch to my OEM rims in the winter. no rubbing issues yet. im still on the stock struts too. comfort is not bad. its definately not going to be the easy ride like you were on stock, but thats what you sacrifice right? it also makes the wheel gaps look a whole lot better. no more 4x4 wheel gap. hope this helps.

You got any pictures of your car with Prodrive springs? I just purchased one, but not installed, probably another month or so.

Just stick with a 6.5" rim and you'll be find. Early CG8 had 7" and often caused rubbing issues. Or before you purchase your wheels ask them if they have any with a NEGATIVE off set. 42mm should do it, and increase performance as well. You can probably go as far as 1". The WRX fender look cool all filled up.
