The StopTech Brake kit is really high quality and it is also specifically designed to work correctly, with the master cylinder. The kit makes the brake pedal very neutral and linear. If you have seen this kit, you would understand the quality that goes into the kits. I have one of the original pre-production kits on my car and I have ran it for about 10K of hard driving on my car and it still works great with no problems, I have experienced little to no brake fade.
StopTech has earned its reputation from the ground up and I would recommend this kit to anyone looking for a big brake kit upgrade.

ProDrives for cheap at TireRack
Okay if it matters at all, I went through this whole process and came to a..."Well, they are both good" conclusion. So just an FYI to all readers.
TireRack.com, after some sort of fight with ProDrive is clearing the big brake kit for 2002 Imprezas out for $1399. This was enough to sway me.
I received my setup yesterday, all looks good.
Happy stopping.

Hey Tim, I think you have the right of it. I love my Stoptech's, more so as I paid the introductory price $14??. This is when the Prodrive kit was $2K+, so an easy decision. Were I to do it now, I would probably go with the Prodrive's at that price.
Enjoy!
FWIW, at a track day at LS last Friday, a Civic straight lined turn 2 into the gravel because his Wilwoods failed due to brake dust build-up in the pistons. Gotta love dust seals!
