The sqeeking in reverse is normal. And if I roll down my windows and put on the brakes i can hear the friction and it sounds like rubbing? Is that what your hearing? If not it might be a rock or your low on fluid?

The sounds you are hearing are common of the STI Brembos. They are a agressive pad compared to most street pads, hence the high brake dust. The reverse squeaking is also common, just one of those things with high performance brakes. Low brake fluid would not make the friction sound you are hearing. If the grinding sound has gotten worse, check with your dealer.

good luck

Dump the stock pads...I picked up some Project Mu. No squeaking, almost no dust and better pedal feel and subject has been discussed many times it is normal just do a search next you should be able to find mucho info...Friend has the Feredo's and likes them very much...
